We provide many ways to get assistance with technology questions:

Service Desk

If you are having trouble logging into your computer, accessing Blackboard, accessing a wireless connection or similar, please contact the Service Desk. Alvernia's Service Desk is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once a ticket has been created, you will receive an email with a confirmation receipt and a link to see the ticket status.

Technology Knowledgebase

You can also use the Alvernia University IT Knowledge Base FAQ & WIKI site which has answers to many questions concerning accounts/passwords, Blackboard, email, and device connectivity.

Walk-in and Get Help

The Media Suite is located on the ground floor of Bernardine Hall room 023 and is open Monday through Thursday from 9am – 7pm and Friday from 9am – 4pm. To utilize the computer lab, or to check out equipment, simply walk in. For more in depth questions, training or to utilize the video or sound studio, an appointment is required.
