The mission of the alumni council is to foster and expand the personal, professional and community leadership benefits enjoyed by each Alumnus as a result of their Leadership Berks experience and support the ideals of Leadership Berks by assisting with the achievement of the organization’s objectives.
• To assist Leadership Berks Alumni in subsequent placement into appropriate volunteer, leadership opportunities
• To provide the means for Leadership Berks Alumni to establish and maintain a network of mentors/peers for effective volunteer community leadership.
• To assist with the identification and recruitment of future program candidates
• To assist with the planning of special events to benefit Leadership Berks
• To continue to promote the goals and objectives of Leadership Berks
• To increase community recognition and unified presence of Leadership Berks and the Alumni Council.
Officers of the Council shall consist of a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer, all of whom must be members of the Council and reside in the Berks County area. Officers shall be elected by appointment of the attending Council officers and Leadership Berks Director.
