New Databases in the Alvernia LibraryThe Library added a number of databases to its collection of resources during the past two months. The new databases include ebooks, articles, Web sites and videos. These new databases can be accessed on the Library Resources page. ebooks Articles Are you looking for a book review? BookSource, Book Index with Reviews, NoveList and NoveList K-8 are databases with book reviews for elementary, middle and high school audiences. The Professional Development Collection is a supplement to our education databases. Another education database, ERIC, is now available through EBSCO. The EBSCO version has the same content but is easier to navigate. The Gale Contemporary Authors database is a source for biographical information on current novelists, playwrights and journalists. Videos Consumer health and patient education videos can be downloaded from wired.MD streaMed Patient Education Solution . These videos present information on the most common health conditions, diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. Web Sites TheBrodart DartClix consists of over 16,000 professionally selected Web sites.
