Databases to search

The EBSCO health databases, OT Search, MEDLINE and/or PubMED are the logical places to begin a search for journal articles. Depending on the topic, you may also find information in the following groups of databases:

Search tips

  1. broaden your search by including synonyms for statistics

    statistics or surveys or prevalence or occurrance, etc.
  2. broaden your search by truncating

    occur* = occur, occurs, occuring, occurance, etc.
  3. focus your search by limiting your search to one database and using limits

Fedstats
Statistical information from more than 100 government agencies organized in a subject-based A-Z Index. There's a search engine that currently covers 70 agencies. Mental Health America
MHA (formerly known as the National Mental Health Association) is a nonprofit "dedicated to helping all people live mentally healthier lives."
