Full Text

Full text means some of the records in the database contain the complete electronic text of an article. Databases, like Business News and Medical Journals in LexisNexis provide entire articles online. Other databases, like Academic Search Premier in EBSCO and ABI/INFORM in ProQuest provide many but not all records with the entire article.

What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?

Graphs and images can be displayed and printed as they appear in the print version by selecting the PDF full text option. Please note that not all articles have the PDF option. If the PDF of the article is not available, you usually need to get the print copy from the library.
