FINDING ARTICLES in CINAHL

• Limit your search to the CINAHL database



• Click the CINAHL Headings tab



• Enter nursing models in the Browse for box and click on Browse

• Click on the term Nursing Models, Theoretical to view all the theorists in the CINAHL database. Click on the theorist of interest

• Check the Major Concept box and click the Add button. The model selected will be added to the Find box. Click the Search button

• To refine your search to articles about Care Plans related to this nursing model, click the Refine tab

• Scroll down to Publication Type and select Care Plan

• Scroll up to the search box and redo your Search

FINDING ARTICLES in HealthSource: Nursing Academic Edition

• Clear your search and use the drop-down menu to change databases

• Select the Subjects tab

• Enter the name of the theorist, check the Relevancy option, and click on Browse

• Click on the Academic Journal References to view the articles
