located in the middle of a title:

- Underline titles of works that have been published
independently (not as part of a larger work): books, plays,
pamphlets, periodicals, films, radio and television
programs, compact discs, ballets, operas, paintings,
sculptures, ships, aircrafts, etc.

- Titles of works published within larger works are placed in
quotation marks. Examples include articles, essays, short
stories and poems, chapter in book, songs, etc.
- Unpublished works (speeches, lectures) are also set in
quotation marcks.
