Respondents were asked to identify any other environmental
education
opportunities apart from those already identified
within the survey offered
through their elementary education program. Two-fifths
(41%) said that
they do have other (voluntary) opportunities. The
majority of these
opportunities are likely elective andnot required
for completion of their
teacher preparation programs (Table 1).
