  • Place the abstract on a separate page immediately after the title page.
  • This is a brief, comprehensive summary that provides readers with a quick overview of the paper.
  • Center the word Abstract at the top of the page.
  • Include the page header in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  • Begin the abstract flush left - do not indent the first line of the abstract.
  • Single paragraph that is 120 words or less.
  • Double-space the text.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the

effects of acute aerobic exercise on state anxiety.

For good physical health, the American College of

Sports Medicine recommends that people perform a

total of 30 minutes of exercise each day.
