Campus Print Program

Print Program Update - Winter 2016


Remaining faculty and staff print locations that have newer XEROX devices will have a card tap device installed over winter break.

This will provide for:

  • Secure print across campuses
  • Integration of University systems to streamline processes (billing, department codes, etc.)
  • Scan to Email – devices will know who you are, no need to enter your email address
  • One experience across campuses


The card tap devices will be installed the week of 12/12.

Important NOTES:
Old printer queue names going away:

By 12/16/16 existing printer queue names will be removed and replaced by PrintBW and PrintColor. PrintBW is the default for black and white printers and PrintColor is for departments with color printers or for sending color to BH Mailroom, FH 2nd Floor or O'Pake 2nd floor.

Access Issues with older Alvernia ID cards:

If you have an Alvernia ID card that does not have a 5-digit ID code on the back you may be unable to log on to the Xerox printer with your card.  

If your card does not work when you tap it please pay a visit to Public Safety and request a new card.
