Device Support

MFPs and Network Printers

Support of MFPs and network printers is provided by our print services partner, XSE Group.

XSE will have a technician on Main Campus for support 2 days per week and has a Customer Service Call Center available Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm.

For device support:

  • Locate the service tag information on the front of the device (sample below)
  • Call in to the customer service center number
  • Provide the number from the white box on the tag or the device serial number, if known

Standard Device Specifications / Documentation
Information on standard MFP and network print devices can be found at the Alvernia Print Portal pages.

  • Click the link above and choose either the Printer or MFP tab
  • Find your device by Model Number (example:  WC 5945 or Phaser 6700)
    • Model Number is located on the front of every device
  • Select the More button next to your model in the list
  • Scroll down and choose “Download” to view the information / specification sheets

Local Printers

Consumables, such as toner or ink, will be purchased by the user’s department. 

Local printers approved for use will be supported via the AU Service Desk.
