If you are having trouble loging into your computer, accessing a wireless connection or similar, please contact the Service Desk. Alvernia's Service Desk is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once a ticket has been created, you will receive an email with a confirmation receipt and a link to see the ticket status.
You can also use the Alvernia University IT Knowledge Base FAQ & WIKI site which has answers to many questions concerning accounts/passwords, Blackboard, email, and device connectivity.
The Technology Support Services on the 2nd floor of the Library is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are ready to help.
The Alvernia University Media & Technology Suite is a state-of-the-art facility housing a multimedia computer lab equipped with high-end iMac computers for aural, graphic, and video editing; a video recording green-screen room equipped with High Definition recording capabilities, and a sound production room equipped with keyboard synthesizer, microphones and a web camera for music & podcast production. The Media Suite also provides training and can assist with your media-based technology questions.
