Blackboard Learning System Training
The Educational Technology Department offers Blackboard training in a variety of formats for full-time and part-time faculty members. The department conducts ongoing workshops and one-on-one consultation and training sessions as well as coordinates seminars for faculty to share their experience and ideas in integrating technology in their teaching. Additionally, to meet the needs of faculty members who prefer online learning, self-paced interactive tutorials are available online.
Online training tutorials and guides are provided to students enrolled in Blackboard courses. Student orientation classes are need-based. A student user guide is also available.
All faculty users are required to complete Blackboard training prior to teaching with a new Blackboard learning system in one of the following methods:
- Workshop
- One-on-one session
