My Alvernia Account


This section provides a resource to access services such as email, wireless, and account information. If your question is not answered in the section below, you can open a support ticket through the Service Desk, emailing the Service Desk, or by calling 610-927-2008.




What is my Alvernia Network User Name?

Your Alvernia Network User Name is a 1 ID/1 password. This User Name consists of the first 4 letters of your last name + the last 6 digits of your Student ID — [e.g., for Mark Smith – ID 000123456 : Username would be smit123456]. Your password is the same as User Name; for sample student Mark Smith, Password is smit123456. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password.

  • Facilities Work Order
  • Astra Event Scheduler
  • Health & Wellness Student Portal
  • PAX (Promoting Alvernia eXperiences)

How do I get an account?

All incoming freshman and new employees will receive new account information; students receive this account in their orientation packet, and new employees will get the information emailed to them from Human Resources. If you did not receive new account information, you can contact the Service Desk to open a support ticket through the Service Desk, email the Service Desk, or by call 610-927-2008.

What is the password policy?

Passwords are an important aspect of computer security. They are the front line of protection for user accounts. A poorly chosen password may result in the compromise of Alvernia University’s network. As such, all Alvernia University students and employees are responsible for taking the appropriate steps, as outlined here, to select and secure their passwords.


How do I access Self-Service?

Self-Service can be accessed by going to the main Logins page.


What is myAlvernia and how do I access it?

MyAlvernia is a web portal which connects users, including students, faculty and staff, to personalized academic, financial and campus information. Because myAlvernia ties directly to Self-Service, it provides direct access to Section Search, Online Registration, Billing and Financial Aid information, Course Schedule, Grades, and other Self-Service features. It can be accessed on the Logins page.


What is E2Campus?

E2Campus is the emergency notification system for Alvernia University. You can log in or view other resource materials by going to the Logins page.


What is CrusaderNet and how do I access it?

CrusaderNet is the University supported wireless network. Current students and employees have access to CrusaderNet. This page will give you instructions on how to access the network.
