THE HONORS PROGRAM AT ALVERNIA COLLEGE

Excellence, Interaction, Enthusiasm

The Honors Orientation Experience

During orientation the honors students are taken off-campus to a local camp, where they spend 24 hours getting to know each other and the faculty who are teaching in the First Year Honors Seminar and its linked classes, as well as some upper-level honors students. This experience is an integral first step in forming a close-knit and supportive community of students and faculty that will follow students through their years at Alvernia.
