THE HONORS PROGRAM AT ALVERNIA COLLEGE

Excellence, Interaction, Enthusiasm

Admission to the Program

  • Students are automatically enrolled in the program based on their high school performance, including GPA, SAT scores, and class rank.
  • The requisite scores are a 3.5 GPA, an 1100 SAT score, and in the top 25% of their graduating class in high school.
  • Most students in the Honors Program are recipients of one of the College’s three academic scholarships.
  • Students are able to join the program after their first semester (or upon transferring to the college) with a collegiate GPA of 3.5, the recommendation of a professor, and/or permission from the Director.
  • Students wishing to join the program after their first semester must submit a letter of intent to the Director of the Program.
