THE HONORS PROGRAM AT ALVERNIA COLLEGE

Admission to the Program

Students are automatically enrolled in the program based on their high school performance, including GPA, SAT scores, and class rank.

The requisite scores are a 3.5 GPA, an 1100 SAT score, and in the top 25% of their graduating class in high school.

Most students in the Honors Program are recipients of one of the College’s three academic scholarships.

Students are able to join the program after their first semester (or upon transferring to the college) with a collegiate GPA of 3.5, the recommendation of a professor, and/or permission from the Director.

Students wishing to join the program after their first semester must submit a letter of intent to the Director of the Program.
