Partners in Non-Profit Education
Scholarship Program for School Employees
Employees of your school district (administrators, faculty and staff)
are eligible for the
Partners in Non-Profit Education scholarship program, valued at 20% of
current tuition for Alvernia’s Graduate Programs with the following
provisions:
• Student must qualify for admission to an Alvernia graduate program.
•
Student must maintain an acceptable level of performance in coursework.
•
Student must be employed full-time by the School District.
The School District must commit to support Alvernia College as follows:
Annually, the District commits to providing two guest speakers for graduate
or undergraduate courses at Alvernia. The College will work with the
District to determine courses in which presentations are most appropriate.
The District agrees to let Alvernia College use its name in advertisements,
news releases, and other public statements indicating that it is a
participant in the Partners in Non-Profit Education scholarship program.
The District agrees to provide at least one internship opportunity for
a student enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program offered at
the College. These internships may include field experiences, student
teaching or placement within the District Office or in the Administrative
Office of an elementary or secondary school.

Agencies
Non-profit agencies may nominate individuals (paid
staff) for the Partners in Non-Profit Education scholarship program,
valued at 20% of current
tuition for Alvernia’s Graduate Programs (does NOT include Ph.D.
courses) with the following provisions:
• Student must qualify for admission to an Alvernia graduate program.
•
Student must maintain an acceptable level of performance in coursework.
•
Student must work full-time at the Partner agency.
The Agency must commit to support Alvernia College as follows:
