Admissions Process
Prospective students may apply to Alvernia at any time for most programs. Available start dates vary, but many programs accept students for each of the six start terms (August, October, January, March, May, and July). We encourage you to work with an admission team member to submit all materials and meet all deadlines. Our dedicated team will work directly with you to identify the best options for you. For most programs, we continually review applications and notify students as soon as a decision has been made.

International Students

Alvernia’s graduate programs are offered in an online and/or hybrid format and cannot accommodate a F-1 student visa at this time. International students looking to enroll in our online programs from their home country will need to have a tertiary (postsecondary) degree that is deemed comparable to a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree. This degree must be from an officially recognized degree-granting institution in the country in which it operates. Students must also submit proof of English proficiency. Information about admissions requirements for graduate programs can be found on the Admissions International page-International Graduate Students program page.
