Gifts to the Franciscan Fund - The Strength of One Dollar
One dollar – each and every dollar – given to Alvernia’s Franciscan Fund – each and every year – makes a difference. Donations add up quickly. The average gift is $50 and gifts range from $1 to over $5,000.
Gifts given by alumni, parents and friends for the College’s current budgetary needs are essential to Alvernia. Your participation in the 2006-07 Franciscan Fund will be appreciated by all of our students.

By Pledging a Gift
A pledge is a promise to make a specified payment within the Annual Fund year (July 1, 2007- June 30, 2008). Pledges can be made by mail, e-mail or phone.

Corporate Matching Gifts Program
Corporate matching gifts provide a wonderful opportunity for you to double your contribution to Alvernia. Please contact your company’s personnel office to find out about your company’s matching gift program It always is necessary to secure proper forms from your employer and to submit them to Alvernia in order for us to receive the matching gift.
Appreciated Stock
Gifts of appreciated securities may be deducted at full market value on the date of transfer to Alvernia. Please e-mail or call J. Michael Pressimone at mike.pressimone@alvernia.edu before you transfer it.
