In order to receive Title IV federal loans, a student must:
- Be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Accepted into a degree program or teacher certification
- Not be in default on any previous loan or owe a refund on any
previous grant
- Be making satisfactory progress according to the College's
requirements
- Not be convicted for possession of sale of drug (federal programs
only)
- Register with the U.S. Selective Service System. This requirement
is for citizens of the U.S. and male immigrant aliens 18-25 years
old. Men can register at any post office or online at the Selective
Service System Web site

To continue receiving financial aid, students must maintain
academic progress. Each full-time student must successfully
complete 18 credit hours per academic year. Students must also
achieve a 3.0 grade point average after each year. For full details
on the academic progress policy, contact the financial aid office.
