Physically deploy and configure new computer systems and peripherals.
Install university-licensed software on university-owned computers.
Troubleshoot problems with computers, printers, peripherals and software.
Repair and refurbish university-owned computers.
Assist Alvernia faculty, staff and students in the use of Information Technology.
Other duties as assigned by the Support Services Manager.
Reserving technological equipment from faculty and staff requests.
Setting up equipment and trouble-shooting equipment issues in the classrooms.
Replacing bad lamps and batteries in remotes; recharging batteries of returned equipment.
Working knowledge of PC operations and willingness to learn skills for configuration, troubleshooting and repair of computers and peripherals.
Strong sense of responsibility for critical systems and personal trustworthiness is essential.
Excellent oral and written communications skills needed.
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move computers and peripheral devices.
