Dr. Jodi Radosh is the Associate Director for The Holleran Center of Community Engagement. In addition, she is an Associate Professor in the Communications Department. She teaches a variety of communication and journalism courses. She also oversees the Alvernia College student television program, “The College Show”. Her doctoral dissertation “Defining Sensationalism in Local Television News” has received national recognition.
Dr. Radosh is a professional journalist who has worked at several television stations throughout Pennsylvania including Philadelphia, Reading, and most recently WGAL-TV Channel 8, the NBC affiliate in Lancaster.
Dr. Radosh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and English from Rutgers College in New Jersey. She received both a Master in Journalism and a Ph.D. in Mass Media and Communications from Temple University. Her biggest fans are her husband Dr. Lee Radosh, a family physician at Reading Hospital, and two daughters, Rachel and Danielle.
