Although retired from active research, I am still very interested in the effects of hormones, especially insulin on the biochemical pathways and modification of the hormone's effects on tissues.
Human biology is not a stagnant series of terms to be memorized. Instead, it is a series of interactions and interrelationships. I enjoy helping the student understand how these relationships work and why it is important to keep certain components like body temperature or glucose levels within a certain range.
