Candidates should evidence commitment to scholarship as well to teaching and mentoring and be prepared to contribute broadly to the mission. Ph.D. is preferred, but Ph.D. candidates will be considered.
College of Arts and Sciences
Applicants must have a doctorate in Political Science or a closely-related field. Preferred candidates will have a specialty in American government with a policy background and some expertise in statistical methodology. Interest in public service and leadership desired.
SpanishApplicants must be able to teach undergraduate classes in Spanish language, literature and culture. The position requires a PhD. in Spanish or a closely related field (ABD's may be considered if very close to completion), the ability to speak and teach Spanish near native fluency, and some experience in undergraduate teaching.
