Here's your chance to check out some of the museums of Philadelphia for one low low price. Just pay for the bus ride down there and admission to several museums is free with your college ID. These museums include: The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum, Eastern State Penitentiary, Free Library of Philadelphia, The Galleries at Moore College of Art & Design, The Franklin Institute and the Academy of Natural Sciences. - History: Established as a private four-year liberal arts college in 1958, Alvernia celebrated its 50th year by being awarded university status in 2008.

- Enrollment: 3,000 students attend Alvernia including 1,500 traditional undergraduates, 600 continuing education students, and 780 graduate students. Over 77% of first-year students live on campus.
