NYC bus trip with tickets to Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific
South Pacific is a winner of 7 Tony Awards and marked as the Best Musical Revival. Even with the world at war, hopes and dreams still bloom on the hillside of an enchanted island in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most romantic musical. Although well know for its extraordinary score—the songs include Some Enchanted Evening,” “Younger Than Springtime,” “Bali Ha’i,” “Nothin’ Like A Dame,” and “A Wonderful Guy”—South Pacific is also a deeply felt drama. Its portrayal of Americans stationed in a foreign culture in wartime and its theme of racial tolerance remains timely today.
