No additional fee for tickets or attire. All graduating students will be assessed a Graduation fee directly to their student account during their final semester. Account payments can be made online, myAlvernia, or in person - Student Billing Office (FH 200/201).

All students must let us know whether or not they will be attending Baccalaureate and Commencement by
Friday, April 20, 2018. Please log onto myAlvernia à Select “University Life” at the top of the page à Click on the first drop “Baccalaureate/Commencement” à Click on the box labeled “Click Here to R.S.V.P. for Commencement & Baccalaureate” at the bottom of the page.

Cap & Gown:
All cap and gown orders will be filled at the Grad Finale Event- all sizes will be available – NO need to PRE-ORDER!

Graduation Rehearsal: Thursday, May 10, 2018

Reading Campus Students: 5:00 p.m. – Physical Education Center
Centers will receive information regarding material covered at the meeting. Students from Centers are welcome to attend, but meeting is not mandatory.

Grad Finale:
This is where you will pick up your cap & gown, tickets, as well as take care of any Alvernia business
(i.e. billing/financial aid, etc.)

Dates of Grad Finale:

Reading Campus – Wednesday, April 25 - 2nd floor Student Center from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (drop in during those hours)

Schuylkill Center – Tuesday, May 1 - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Philadelphia Center – Wednesday, May 2 - 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Room 101)


Each student will receive eight (8) tickets. Additional tickets, IF available, will be distributed after all Grad Finales are completed (maximum of 2 additional tickets). No need to call for extra tickets, you can request extra at the Grad Finale Event. *The ceremony will be webcast live on the Alvernia website,, for guests who want to view the ceremony but don’t have a ticket.

Class Rings & Announcements:
Class rings and announcements will be available on-line through the bookstore at , or for purchase at the Grad Finale on Wednesday, April 25th – Reading Campus.

You are notified by mail when your diploma is available for pick up. This typically takes about 6-8 weeks after completion of your courses.

Honors status is based on your cumulative grade point average at the end of Mod 3 (3-7-2018) for undergraduate students only. You are notified of this status and will receive your honor cords at Honors Convocation. Please keep in mind that your honor status on your diploma and final transcripts is based on your final cumulative grade point average.

Graduation Pictures:
Individual pictures will be taken at Graduation by Grad Images. Students will be able to view pictures on the website,, and purchase directly through the website. Any questions, contact them at 800-261-2576

Graduation Survey:
Each graduate will be asked to complete an on-line graduation survey. The information will be emailed to you from the Office of Institutional Research, please complete the survey prior to Grad Finale.
