How many hours do you need?
Traditional 4 year student: 40 hours
2 year student - Associate degree: 20 hours
Transfer student - Credits reported by Alvernia College determine your

How do I go about doing my service?
- Check
this list of non-profit agencies
- Select one that interests you
- Contact the Agency
- Complete your service hours at this agency
- Fill out the verification
form
- Have the form signed by the Agency Supervisor
- Fill out the assessment survey on the reverse side of the verification
form
- DROP OFF THE SIGNED FORM IN THE COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICE
- Congratulations, the registrar will be notified that you have fulfilled
your service
How do I find out about the 4th credit option?
All professors who participate in service learning will explain it to you during
the first class period. Expectations will be added to your syllabus.
What is the Community Service Class all about?
- Check the registration booklet to find out when and where College
150 is being held
- Sign up for a rewarding 3 credit class and complete your service
requirement while earning credits towards graduationThese options are
