Honor’s Convocation ~ Friday, May 16, 2008
Physical Education Center ~ 5:00 pm
- Faculty will robe in the Women’s Locker Room. Please arrive by 4:30 pm to prepare for the academic procession.
- After Honor’s Convocation, you may keep your rental attire until after commencement.
- Immediately following the Honor’s Convocation, there will be a reception for participants and their guests in the PEC.
Hooding Ceremony & Baccalaureate ~ Saturday, May 17, 2008
Physical Education Center ~ 10:00 am
- Faculty will robe in the Lobby of the Center for College Life. Please arrive by 9:15 to line up for Baccalaureate Mass. (There will be a security guard so that you can leave your personal items).
- After Baccalaureate Mass there will be a light lunch served in the Student Center Dining Hall on campus.
- You will need to bring your attire (rented or your own) to the Sovereign Center from the Baccalaureate Mass.
Commencement ~ Saturday, May 17, 2008
Sovereign Center ~ 2:00 pm
- Parking is $1 per car in the Reading Parking Authority lots. Please see attached directions for more information. There will also be a shuttle running from the Student Center Parking lot before and after Commencement, if you would prefer. (I also have maps in my office, if you are interested)
- Please enter the Sovereign Center by the main doors. You do not need a ticket to gain entry. Faculty will robe in the dressing room area of The Sovereign Center. There will be staff to direct you to the right location once you arrive at the Sovereign Center. Please arrive by 1:15 to line up for the procession. (There will be a security guard so that you can leave your personal items in the dressing room area).
- Please bring your academic attire, ready to wear.
- There will be a light dessert reception immediately following Commencement at the Sovereign Center for all participants and their guests.
- Following Commencement: Return all rented academic attire to the dressing room of The Sovereign Center. (If you forget to return your attire at the Sovereign Center, please return to my office as soon as possible the next week)
