Re: Campaign 2004: The National Political Conventions Program
With the primaries and caucuses underway for the 2004 presidential election, I would like to send this reminder to you regarding The Washington Center's Campaign 2004: The National Political Conventions academic seminar. This program will be held on-site in Boston for the Democratic Convention (Suffolk University) and in New York (Pace University) for the Republican Convention. The regular deadline for applications is March 1, 2004, but we are encouraging students to apply now to avoid being placed on a waiting list.
This is a significant career development opportunity for students, especially for juniors and seniors interested in making contacts. Graduating seniors are eligible to apply for the program. Also, if you have any freshmen or sophomores that you are grooming for a Truman or Madison Scholarship Award, this is an exceptional opportunity that can add luster to a student's civic involvement record.
