Sport Management is an interdisciplinary
major offering a broad-based curricula in sports, management,
marketing and promotion, communications, law, finance
and accounting, economics, and computer literacy. Students
acquire understanding of the role of sports in our
society, the role of management in sports, and have
opportunities to apply knowledge in a variety of practical
experiences through the cooperative education internships.
Students who complete the degree may attain careers
in professional or collegiate sports, resorts, athletic
clubs/facilities, retail sporting goods, public relations,
activities programming, sales and marketing.
