CAREER COUNSELING

Assist students in all phases of occupational exploration, major selection, and job seeking. Students are urged to schedule individual appointments.

FOCUS

An on-line career guidance system to assist students in assessing interests, values and skills and exploring and analyzing occupations based on those interests, values, skills, and personality and leisure activities. Information about specific occupations is also included. Check campus publicity for the password or contact Career Services at 610-796-8225/610-790-2878.

CAREER RESOURCE LIBRARY

Contains many volumes of occupational literature, graduate school information ,employer publications and job seeking resources. See Publications section for more complete list.

JOB POSTINGS

Announcement of full time, part time and season jobs and internships for students and alumni can be accessed at http://www.collegecentral.com/alvernia/. Students may simply review job opportunities or upload resumes and apply for positions online.

RESUME REVIEW

An individual session to review and improve the draft of your resume. Bring your worksheet and your questions; expect some candid observations and suggestions. Appointments are encouraged.
