Welcome to Alvernia College’s on-line access to FOCUS: a career and educational planning system. FOCUS will allow you to examine your current career status and assess your interests, values, skills and personality, explore careers that match those assessments and map out realistic goals and plans. A password is required for access to the FOCUS system. You may contact Career Services for that password or find it on campus publicity posted in all classrooms, residence halls and other public areas. You can reach Career Services during business hours at 610-796-8225. NOTE an important next step: FOCUS is not designed to replace conversations with a career counselor. While the Alvernia Career Services staff will be aware that you have completed tasks on FOCUS, they will not have access to your results. You are strongly urged to contact Career Services to schedule an appointment to review your results and continue your career planning process under the guidance of a professional.
