What can I do with a major in Accounting ?

The accounting major provides the opportunity to develop professional skills that enable the student to enter the field of management accounting or public accounting. Accounting is a dynamic profession that provides support for management decision-making and offers a variety of important services to clients. Ultimate professional certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a desirable goal.
