Privacy is a very important concern for all those
who come to the Health and Wellness Center. The Center follows
the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Under this act, the privacy of the patient/student
is protected by established Privacy and Patient Rights. No health
or counseling records are issued without the written permission
of the student.
All students must have health insurance. A group
plan is available through the Student Billing Office for those not covered
by a family plan. Call 610-796-8214 for further information. Click
here for a student insurance claim form.
The name of the insurance provider and policy numbers
must be listed on each student's immunization record.
