COL 190: MAJORS AND CAREERS
COL 190: Majors and Careers is designed specifically for students who are in the process of deciding on a major and who think they would benefit from sustained and guided focus on the major selection process. Students will learn methods of ongoing self-evaluation, explore decision-making theory, learn how to locate, evaluate, and use information on majors and careers, and learn how to connect majors to careers. Students will identify and evaluate interests, skills, values and life style preferences and relate them to educational and career planning. Students who are committed to their choice of major should not take this course.

Freshmen or sophomores who have yet to decide on a major and who feel like they would benefit from sustained and guided focus on the major selection process.
