Education Center) Meet up with your First-Year Seminar class or fellow new transfer students to attend this event as a group. The Mission Convocation and Interfaith Welcome is an all-faith service, which will introduce new students to the values and mission of Alvernia College. |

First-Year Seminar Off-Campus
Fun Activity (Location TBA) Each first-year student will find out directly from your instructor where you will be heading. Maybe you will be off to your instructor’s house for a picnic, heading to the movies, off to play miniature golf, out for a tour of the city…the possibilities are ENDLESS. |

| 9:00 p.m. | Chapter 6 (Francis Hall Auditorium) Emerging from a college course, Chapter 6 became the premier jazz a cappela ensemble at Millikin University, Decatur, Illinois. This group of talented young men are not just fine musicians, they are a totally hilarious comedic group. Playing to a packed auditorium of Alvernia College students last fall, and back by popular demand, we are proud to share these singing sensations with our new students. |
