Ryan was revved up about cars long before he got his driver’s license.
After graduating with a major in marketing and a minor in art, Ryan snagged a great job as the social media director of the Lux Performance Group, a Portland, Oregon company that specializes in engineering and marketing for the automotive and motorsport industry. (In a word, “racing!”)
His specialty is keeping the many fans of the Dodge Viper Cup ACR-X Celebrity Driver program, a huge national racing event, informed and connected through Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
“I’ve always been really into cars, so when I was offered a job with Lux Performance Group, I couldn‘t have been happier. Everyday, I use what I learned in my classes at Alvernia in a job that I absolutely love.”
Ryan credits the small class sizes and thoughtful, inspiring professors with helping him get his career on the right track. “The curriculum is very focused and intensive, and the professors really push you to do your best,” Ryan said. “Because the classes are small, you never feel like you don’t know your professors. They’re always around to push you to the limit.”
