Individual Campus Visit
We want to personalize your visit to Alvernia University. Individual campus visits are available to students during the week and also on select Saturdays. A student tour guide will give you a tour of the campus and an admissions counselor will meet with you to answer any questions you may have. Let us know if you are interested in a particular academic or athletic program so we can help you connect with the right professors and/or coaches during your visit.
Tours can be scheduled Monday through Friday at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, & 3:00 PM and on Saturdays during the academic year at 10:00 AM & 11:00 AM.

Shadow Visit - A Day in Class
Schedule a Shadow Visit to experience academic life at Alvernia University from an insider’s point of view. Contribute to a class discussion or watch your peers working in our science labs. You will come away with a great sense of the collaborative environment found at Alvernia. Shadow Visits include lunch and a campus tour with a student. You can meet with Admissions to discuss your plans and learn how you can become an Alvernia student.
Shadow Visits can be scheduled on Monday through Thursdays. To schedule a Shadow Visit contact the

Note: Please register at least one week prior to intended shadow date in order to allow for scheduling time.
Overnight Visits
The Alvernia admissions staff and campus community realize the importance of the overnight visit as a part of the college selection process. Plan an overnight visit to the Alvernia campus and find out what it’s like to be a “real” college student. During your overnight stay, you’ll have the opportunity to attend classes, check out student activities in the student center, meet and make friends with current students, eat in the dining hall and spend the night in a residence hall with your host student. Who knows, you might even meet your future roommate! This experience will allow you to view campus life at Alvernia firsthand and enable you to uncover all that Alvernia University has to offer.
