Undergraduate Admissions

Hi everyone, my name is Courtney Wilson and I am an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor and proud alumna of 'The Vern'! I graduated from AU in 2015 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and English. As a student here, I worked in the Admissions office as a tour guide, served as one of the chief editors of The Alvernian and worked as an AmeriCorps member at the Holleran Center for Community & Global Engagement. During my years here I was also a social media intern at Berks Community Television (BCTV), published in Berks County Living magazine, served as an Orientation Weekend Leaders (OWL) and was a National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Fellow.

After my graduation, I furthered my education by earning my Master of Science degree in Higher Education Counseling and Student Affairs from West Chester University. While studying there, I was a graduate assistant in the Graduate Admissions Office. My experiences as a first-generation college student and working in Admissions led me to pursue a career as an Admissions Counselor to develop my passion for helping students successfully transition into the college experience.

If you live in Adams or York counties in Pennsylvania, or are a resident of Maryland, Virginia or Washington D.C., I will be your go-to girl. Keep an eye out for me because I will be visiting your high school and attending college fairs near you soon!

I am thrilled to have returned to Alvernia, to again join the 'Vern' family - and I hope you will too! I look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at Courtney.Wilson@Alvernia.edu or 610-790-1982.
