Undergraduate Admission

Hello, future Crusaders! My name is Amelia Guydish and I am an Admissions Counselor and E-Recruitment Coordinator at Alvernia University.  I am responsible for all potential undergraduate students interested in studying English, Communications, and Theatre. I also visit high schools and attend college fairs in Chester and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania.

I completed my undergraduate journey at Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Speech Communication with a concentration in Public Relations, and I am proud to say that I am beginning my graduate work here at Alvernia! Part of my job here in the Admissions office is communicating with prospective students through e-mail marketing, and of course, Facebook and Twitter! I monitor the Alvernia University Admissions Facebook and Alvernia Admission Twitter pages, and I love talking to students where they are at the most! I will also assume the position of Boscov Scholarship Committee chair for the next two years, and I am very excited to be working with Berks County students who have worked diligently to earn the prestige of this award.
