Hello! My name is Amelia Guydish and I am an Admissions Counselor and E-Recruitment Coordinator here at Alvernia University. I am responsible for all potential undergraduate students interested in studying English, Communications, and Theatre. As a Berks County native, I love the area and the positive engagement Alvernia brings to the surrounding communities. I graduated from Exeter Township Senior High School in 2006 and went on to receive my B.S. in Speech Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Millersville University located in Lancaster, PA.
When my four years in Lancaster County were up, I happily moved back to Reading to start working in the communications field. After working for a year in the auto industry doing Internet marketing, I found myself at Alvernia working with prospective students and their families, and I still get to use my Internet marketing knowledge! Part of my job here in Admissions is communicating with prospective students through e-mail marketing, and of course, Facebook!
