Spring Semester
Hey Everyone!
Spring Sports have begun :) Lacrosse started the first Tuesday we were back in school. Hardcore practices! But I love it so much so it’s always a good time. Our team has such great chemistry, which makes it that much more fun to play. For those of you who don’t know, I play two sports, lacrosse and soccer. Everyone thinks I’m crazy for playing to collegiate sports but I couldn't imagine my college experience without them. I played two sports in high school, soccer and lacrosse, and coming to a division three school it was made possible for me to play both. It’s really all about time management. If you are organized and planned your schedule around practices and games, then you'll do fine. I have a Monday night class so sometimes it gets tricky because I have class and practices/games at the same time. All the coaches at Alvernia make it mandatory for you to attend class before practice. They understand you are a STUDENT-athlete. Student being first. If anyone has any interest in meeting a coach during your tours or if you just want to meet him or her, feel free to ask admissions for more details! I also want to wish everyone the best of luck in the rest of their senior year, I understand that Seniorities will be hitting soon. Get you major projects done early, just so you don’t have to worry when you want to skip and go to the beach, like us new-jersee-ians do :)

Also, is there any parties or things to do on the weekends? And do alot of people go home on the weekends? You can e-mail me back at princes23200@yahoo.com
