Freshman Applicant

Our warm Alvernia attitude extends to the ease of applying for admission. Once you have decided to apply to Alvernia University, there are several ways to do so, and our supportive admissions staff will help along the way. Students seeking admission to Alvernia may apply anytime after the junior year in high school. All candidates should submit the following:

1. Completed online or paper application accompanied by a non-refundable $25 application fee. Call our office (1-888-ALVERNIA) to request an application form by mail.

2. Official High School transcript or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) indicating successful completion of the program.

3. Official report from the testing agency of combined SAT or ACT scores.

4. Two letters of recommendation if applying to the Nursing Program.

5. A copy of DD214 from military (if applicable).
