Social Work Club
The purpose of the Work Club is to encourage and promote service not only throughout the university, and surrounding community, but also throughout the world. Students will be working on community service projects during the year. Social Work majors are encouraged to participate in the club activities, however membership is open to all Alvernia students.
Phi Alpha Honor Society
Alvernia’s Zeta Upsilon chapter of Phi Alpha provides a closer bond among students of social work, and is dedicated to the promotion of humanitarian goals and ideals. Students who have attained academic excellence of a 3.0 (4.0 scale) overall grade point average are invited to join.
