Middle Level Grades 4-8 Certifications
Undergraduate students enrolled in Middle Level programs Grades 4-8 should complete the Middle Level Grades 4-8 Core Assessment (5152) and the Subject Concentration tests for the area they plan to teach before registering for student teaching.

At this time there is no Pennsylvania Department of Education GPA-Qualifying test score. The test scores listed below are the minimum requirement for each middle level assessment.

If you are completing a dual subject program such as
mathematics and science, you must successfully complete the subject
concentration test for each subject area.
