Middle Level Grades 4-8 Certifications

Undergraduate students enrolled in Middle Level programs Grades 4-8 should complete the Middle Level Grades 4-8 Core Assessment (5152) and the Subject Concentration tests for the area they plan to teach before registering for student teaching.

• Module 2 English, Language Arts, and Social Studies (5154)
• Module 3 Mathematics and Science (5155)

Grades 4-8 Subject Concentration Assessments

• English, Language Arts (5156)

• Mathematics (5158)

At this time there is no Pennsylvania Department of Education GPA-Qualifying test score.  The test scores listed below are the minimum requirement for each middle level assessment.

 
If you are completing a dual subject program such as mathematics and science, you must successfully complete the subject concentration test for each subject area.
