Biography

Dr. Travis A. Berger is an Assistant Professor of Business and Leadership at Alvernia University, where he has taught since 2005, and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vide Consulting Group, LLC, a regional leadership and management consulting firm.  Professor Berger’s current research focuses on the pragmatic intersection of leadership and organizational strategy, servant leadership and power, strategic talent and performance management as a means for meaningfully embedding organizational core values, organizational high performers, and strategic human resources.  He is driven to leverage his research and work to help make a positive difference in the lives of people, organizations, and the community.  Dr. Berger is passionate about teaching, and throughout his tenure at Alvernia Univeristy students have consistently rated him as an excellent teacher.  He routinely delivers keynote addresses, presents at academic and professional conferences, and teaches training and development seminars and workforce development workshops.  Dr. Berger was a scholarship athlete on Penn State’s Men’s Soccer Team where he was part of a Big Ten Championship team, earned Big Ten First Team and Academic All-American honors, and served as captain his senior year.
