Awards
  The Department of the Humanities gives out two awards at graduation. The first, given to all worthy students, is the High Achievement in the Humanities Award.
  The second, given at most to one student, is the Outstanding Student in the Humanities Award.

Humanities Awards

The High Achievement in the Humanities Award is given to all graduating Humanities Majors who have demonstrated consistent academic excellence during their Alvernia career.

The Outstanding Student in the Humanities Award is given to at most one graduating Humanities Major who has shown exceptional accomplishment in the Humanities, demonstrated by superior academic performance and a continuing commitment outside the classroom.

This award is given solely at the discretion of the Department of the Humanities.
