The Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree curriculum can range from 36 to 45 credits (12–15 courses) depending on your academic background. Our curriculum provides a foundation of core business courses at the outset of the program that are enhanced through the upper level courses as well as the capstone course and project.

The MBA faculty use various course formats to help you learn, including case studies, lecture/discussion, group projects and simulation exercises to ensure what you gain in one course will reinforce and build on what you learn in others.

Curriculum

Required Interdisciplinary Courses (6 credits):

COR 510: Moral Leadership
COR 600: Organizational and Professional Ethics ~ taken in the final 12 credits

Required Courses (24-33 credits):

Leveling Courses*:
MBA 502: Accounting for the Workplace (3 credits) OR prior coursework in Accounting 
MBA 504: Management and Marketing (3 credits) OR prior coursework in Management and/or Marketing
MBA 506: Economics and Finance (3 credits) OR prior coursework in Microeconomics and/or Finance

*Leveling courses are waived for students with an undergraduate business degree. Courses may also be waived according to guidelines established by the business department. Course waivers are confirmed upon admission to the program.
