The Program in School Health Services leading to a Master of Education with School Nurse Certification curriculum is 35 credits (11 classes). The nursing and education faculty uses various course formats to help you learn, including case studies, lecture/discussion, group projects and simulation exercises to ensure what you gain in one course will reinforce and build on what you learn in others.
Students with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or
university are eligible for entry into the program. The following undergraduate credit hours are required for acceptance: Composition and Literature (6 credits), Mathematics (6 credits), and Educational Psychology (3 credits).
