The Secondary (Grades 7-12) Teaching Certification program is dedicated to providing instruction in educational theory balanced with current classroom practices. The program focuses on a value-centered approach toward the preparation of caring, uniquely-qualified candidates to address the needs of diverse populations in today's schools.

The Secondary (Grades 7-12) Teaching Certification curriculum prepares students to teach grades seventh through twelfth. Secondary Education students select a concentration for certification from the following disciplines: English, Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies.
